AGILE 2023 - Call for Workshops

Call for Workshops

The Association of Geographic Information Laboratories in Europe (AGILE) has held annual conferences focused on Geographical Information Science since 1998. The next AGILE 2023 conference will be held in Delft, the Netherlands, on 13-16 June 2023. The workshops will be held on June 13.

We invite organizers of workshops and tutorials to submit proposals. Examples of the earlier conducted workshops can be found here. It is possible to opt for either a half day or full day workshop, and proposals can be made also for tutorials.

The conference theme ‘Spatial data for design’ will emphasize links between GI Science and various design activities, by addressing data, software, and workflows needed for or generated in the process of spatial planning and design. Spatial data is used in the design, production and evaluation of various designs of human-created objects in the built environment (including buildings, roads, dykes, parks, cities and regions). Workshop proposals fitting this theme would be highly appreciated, but are not a requirement for acceptance.

Send proposals no later than 15 January 2023 using this form (email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the subject ‘AGILE 2023 workshop proposal’).

Workshop organizers will be informed about acceptance by 1 February 2023. Details about the registration, the venue, and the general program are described on the AGILE conference website.
