Societal Geo-Innovation

Contributors are invited to submit papers and abstracts on all topics within the fields of Geographic Information Science.  However since the theme is Societal Geo-Innovation and since we celebrate the 20th conference five sessions are organised that pay special attention to developments and applications that contribute to the first 5 goals of the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations. These are:

  1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
  2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
  3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
  4. Ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning
  5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls

Contributors are specially invited to contribute to these sessions. We would also be interested in papers dedicated to the impact of 20 years of geo research.
